Register now for a roadshow or watch a webinar to learn more about the new GP contract. Free for BMA members and non-members.
About these events:Following the announcement of an upcoming non-statutory ballot for action on the 2024/25 GP contract, the GPC England team is travelling the country in a series of roadshows, hosted by regional LMCs leaders.
These events offer an opportunity to hear face to face about the GP campaign, understand the non-statutory ballot and discuss and debate with your peers.
They will be sharing the BMA GP Practice Survival Toolkit to Protect your Practice, Protect your Patients and other campaign materials to take back to your practice.
Who can attend:The events are open to all GP contractors/partners and practice managers, salaried GPs, GP registrars and practice nurses.
All GPs are encouraged to attend these events, as there will be a lot of information which is relevant to all. You do not need to be a member to attend.
What you will learn:You can find out what has changed in the imposed GP contract 2024-25, hear more about the referendum in which BMA members roundly rejected that contract and the next steps. They will explain the non-statutory ballot, the timing, the choice, the options and the plan for action. They will also share expert KC opinion of the risk associated with any action and why what they are proposing will be safe for you, your staff, your business and your patients.
You will also be able to hear about GPC England’s vision, strategy and aims for the months ahead leading up to and after the general election.
There’ll be plenty of time for questions, answers and considered debate.
