The British Medical Association has elected its new deputy chair of the GP committee in England, completing its officer team.
In April 2022, amendments to the GP contract regulations were made that removed the requirement for individuals within scope of the general practice pay transparency provisions to make a self-declaration of their 2020/21 NHS earnings by 30 April 2022.
It was so very sad to hear of the death of a GP colleague and Manchester Graduate, Dr Gail Milligan, who took her own life after the “unbearable pressure of her job finally got to her”.
